Kids
These are some of our favorite kids products including our go to games, must read books and useful gadgets!
Toys & Games
Orchard Toys make a huge variety of educational and fun games. We spend a lot of our homeschooling using their games to learn math.

Peacable Kingdom specialise in cooperative boardgames which are now our favourites to play! No winners, no losers, just the players against the game: Dinosaur Escape

Grimms Wooden Toys. Timeless and open ended toys get a big thumbs up here. here are my favorite UK stockists : Freedom, Conscious Craft, Yes Bebe (Rainbows10 will save you 10% at Yes Bebe), Babi Pur,

Grapat are our go to for people in our play. As they are faceless it gives the kids real freedom to express their emotions through play: You can find Grapat at the same stores as above.

Plan Toys offer a range of sustainable wooden toys from bath play to dress up kits: we love the range available at Babi Pur.

Lanka Kade were some of the first wooden toys we got for the kids. They're lightweight but sturdy enough for little hands making them a perfect early small world play option. You can find a wonderful range of Lanka Kade at Rainbow Life

Holztiger are my favourite wooden figures. Again they are sturdy and suitable from a young age but they are much more detailed making them great for older children too. They can be a little tricky to come by so I tend to google the figure we are looking for and go from there!

Maileg are our go to for soft toys and dolls house furnishings. I particularly love the mice with magnetic hands like the one in this link!

Scrunch are a must have for the beach. They're lightweight, the buckets and watering cans are compact and they just add so much fun! As they're made from silicone they are also very sturdy which means you are saving money by not having to repeatedly buy hard plastic counterparts that will easily break.

Authors and Books we love
Rachel Bright range of beautiful books all have a moral to tell or a lesson to give. They're perfect for encouraging our kids to be themselves : The Squirrels Who Squabbled, Love Monster, The Whale Who Wanted More

Rob Biddulph creates wonderful stories for younger children as well as a great range of art books that teach them to draw: The Blue Footed Booby, Give Peas A Chance, Grrrrr!, Kevin are just a few of our favourites.

Julia Donaldson I don't think a children author list could be complete without her:

Zoe Tucker makes history and current world events fun and engaging for young minds: Greta and the Giants, Ada Lovelace and the Number Crunching Machine

Useful things
Sunglasses - Our go to sunglasses for the kids are Babiators. They have a 1 year warranty for being broken or lost which is wonderful but they are also super strong. We have had ours for 2 years and they've been bent, stood on, thrown around and are still going strong!

Travel Essentials
Break Bottle: This has been a revolution for our on-the-go bottle. The break bottle does exactly what it says, it breaks in half! This means it can easily fit in the dishwasher (yes, it's also dishwasher safe) and be stored in a way that allows air circulation so it doesn't build up bacteria and develop that "reusable bottle" smell. It also means that it can be broken into 2 cups whilst out and about for drink sharing (very useful if you don't want to share with a toddler) and stays insulated for 4 hours. Whilst this isn't as long as other bottles it's more than long enough for most trips I've found and means no burning your mouth on scolding drinks. Rainbows10 will save you 10% on Break Bottle.
